UPPSC postpones PCS mains exam

Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a new notification regarding the exams schedule of the PCS mains exam. UPSC has decided to postponed the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam (Mains)-2019, commonly UP PCS (Mains) exam.

The exams were scheduled to be conducted this month, i.e. in April. Along with this the exam of Assistant Review Officer (ARO) and Review Officer (RO) too has been postponed by the commission.

As per the statement from Arvind Kumar Mishra, these exams have been postponed in view of the present crisis in the country owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the examination controller of the commission, fresh dates of the postponed exams would be announced later.

The news dates have not been announced yet, Candidates are requested to keep checking the official page of UPSC to get more information about the exams. A total of 6320 aspirants had passed for the main exams out of 3181475 candidates who had appeared in the exam. (INDIA ONLINE)
