US-backed Syrian forces have captured 41 positions held by Islamic State terror group and destroyed their fortifications in the last tiny pocket they hold in eastern Syria.
Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces made the advances yesterday after they launched a final push to clear the area from IS terrorists on Saturday night. Heavy fighting is going on inside Baghouz from where 20,000 civilians have been evacuated.
