In the Women's Football World Cup being held in France, England have finished as Group-D toppers, while Scotland have been knocked out.

In the Pool's final matches last night, while England defeated Japan, two-nil, Scotland played out a three-three draw with Argentina. England and Japan progressed to the Round-of-16 from Group-D, while Argentina and Scotland were eliminated.

Final round of Group-E and Group-F matches will be played today. In Pool-E, Cameroon will face New Zealand at Montpellier, while the Netherlands will take on Canada at Reims.
