Yogi Adityanath govt celebrates completion of six years in office

The Yogi Adityanath government celebrated the completion of one-year of the Chief Minister's second term in Lucknow as his cabinet completed six years on 25th March 2023, Saturday. Addressing media on this occasion CM Yogi Adityanath said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Uttar Pradesh has created its own new identity in the country and the world in last 6 years.

AIR correspondent reports that talking about developments in UP, CM Yogi Adityanath said that six years back people used to say that there can never be development in UP, but today the whole state is making its way to the first place in the country in all Flagship Schemes of central Government.

Chief Minister said that we have done police reforms in state. Seven police commissioners were formed in the state. Fire brigades were formed at the tehsil level. Barracks are being built for the police in every district and cyber police stations are being established. The law and order situation has improved and the conviction rate for crimes against women is 59.1 percent in the state.

Chief Minister said that in the last six years, an environment has been created for employment in the state. Today, youth of every district of state is getting government jobs under Mission Rojgar without any discrimination. He added that the perception towards UP has changed as such investment proposals worth rupees 33.5 lakh crore were received in recent Global Investor Summit.

Yogi further informed that today UP Government is providing a pension of ₹ 12 thousand annually to more than 01 crore destitute women, old women and disabled people. He added that One District, One Product (ODOP) programme is creating a buzz not only in Uttar Pradesh but in the country and the world. Vishwakarma Shram Samman is giving a new identity to the handicraftsmen and artisans of Uttar Pradesh, CM added.
CM also released a booklet on the achievements of the government. Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and other Ministers of the cabinet were also present on this occasion. (AIR NEWS)
